Swap - Sticker filled matchbox

Last April, my last swap through swap-bot was a sticker filled matchbox swap. The theme was up to the sender's choice based on the profile of the person who was receiving it. From the outside, my matchbox was not very fancy but I can say without being mistaken that it surely was delicate (from my point of view though). I filled it with lovely stickers I had bought on purpose for this swap. Here is the picture I had taken before to send it to Angie (alias Purdyeyes) who lives in the States:

I already mentioned Stu in one or two of my previous posts. Stu is studying photography. She is 22. She lives in Finland. I like to visit her page (http://stuwashere.blogspot.com/). Stu read carefully my profile and sent to me this lovely matchbox together with a nice postcard showing London Saint Paul's Cathedral and a miniature Hello Kitty :

Challenge - Envelope project

2010_0605_Envelope_Project

Stopping by on the page of Bianca (her page can be found on the following link http://www.goodnightlittlespoon.com/) I read about this challenge she registered for.

It is organized by Lovely Miss Pip (her page link is http://meetmeatmikes.blogspot.com/). Both of them live in Australia.

So let me tell you briefly about this challenge which is called "Envelope project". Each  person who gets involved should send Lovely Miss Pip a decorated envelope with something little inside (i.e. 'photos, pages from magazines, ribbon, swap cards, vintage patterns, notes, shopping lists, little (lightweight!) zines, sweet wrappers, stickers, really... anything small, light and interesting'), and makes sure to put their return address overside. For six weeks, each thing she receives she will photograph and upload to Flickr, and then at the end of the period she will draw one random envelope and she will send that person EVERYTHING that she received in the mail. Isn't it exciting?

Her address is:
Meet Me At Mike's
63 Brunswick Street
Fitzroy Victoria 3065
Australia

I am very tempted to participate but I shall think of it one or two more days before to get involved. What about you?

Film - Crossing the bridge - The sound of Istanbul

2010_0605_Crossing_the_Bridge___The_sound_of_Istanbul

Blogs - I am reading ...

I already mentioned that I love to jump from blog to blog. I could spend hours doing this without noticing the time going by! Because my memory is not as good as it was used to I added some of these webpage links to my favorites in order to look at them anytime I want. I do not know personally most of the owners of these pages except for a few of them who I met through swaps i.e. Stu (for exemple).

I met Stu through swap-bot. She sent me a lovely matchbox. Through her profile I got her blog address which is: http://stuwashere.blogspot.com/ It is fresh and very artistic. I tried to pay a daily visit to her page. Then reading her blog I got to click on the link she had with Keri Smith who can be found on this link http://www.kerismith.com/blog/. This blog is a pure "merveille". I am very interested by the ideas Keri is talking about and would love to do for real what she is developping in her books. Sooner or later I may do it. I know it is going slowly through my brain. One day ...

Then jumping from a blog to another I may visit in a near future the following pages :

1- Joana's page on http://ecologicstoryteller.blogspot.com/

2- Faiza's page http://itsgonnabealovelyday.blogspot.com/ (I love her weblink name)

3- Bianca's page on http://www.goodnightlittlespoon.com/

To be continued ...
