Dans un univers aussi vaste que mystérieux, une force aussi petite que puissante est en place depuis des siècles : des protecteurs de la paix et de la justice appelés Green Lantern Corps, une confrérie de guerriers qui a juré de maintenir l’ordre intergalactique, et dont chaque membre porte un anneau lui conférant des super-pouvoirs. Mais quand un ennemi du nom de Parallax menace de rompre l’équilibre entre les forces de l’univers, leur destin et celui de la Terre repose sur leur dernière recrue, le premier humain jamais choisi : Hal Jordan.
Hal est un pilote d’essai talentueux et imprudent, mais les Green Lanterns ont un peu de respect pour les humains, qui n’ont jamais exploité les pouvoirs infinis de l’anneau auparavant. Hal est clairement la pièce manquante du puzzle et il possède, en plus de sa détermination et de sa volonté, une chose qu’aucun des autres membres n’a jamais eu : son humanité. Soutenu par son amour d’enfance, le pilote Carol Ferris, Hal doit rapidement maîtriser ses nouveaux pouvoirs et vaincre ses peur, pour prouver qu’il n’est pas que la clé pour vaincre Parallax mais peut-être le plus grand Green Lantern de tous les temps.

Faegheh Atashin (Persian: فائقه آتشین, born on May 5, 1950 in Tehran) also known by her stage name Googoosh (Persian: گوگوش) is an Iranian singer and actress. She is known for her contributions to Iranian pop music, but also starred in a variety of movies from the 1950s to the 1970s. She achieved the pinnacle of her fame and success towards the end of the 1970s. Her overall impact and contributions to Middle Eastern and Central Asian pop-music earned her the title of the most iconic female pop-singer from those regions. Due to her great talents and overall endearment to her people, she is eternally a symbol of national-pride to the Iranian people.

After the Iranian Revolution in 1979, she is famously known for remaining in Iran until 2000 and not performing again due to the ban on female singers. Still, her following grew. Younger people have rediscovered her music via bootleg recordings. Outside of Iran, she has a significant following in many Middle Eastern and Central Asian countries, and has even caught the attention of western media and press. Googoosh is rumored to reside in a four-bedroom, four-bath home in Beverly Crest, which she bought for $1.37 million from Jack M. Snyder and Stephanie E. Snyder on April 13, 2011,^[and continues her career, albeit in a limited manner.

Calvin Harris (born Adam Richard Wiles on 17 January 1984) is a Scottish singer-songwriter, record producer and DJ. His gold-selling debut album, I created Disco, was released in 2007 and contained the top ten singles "Acceptable in the 80s"" and "The Girls". He has written and produced records for other recording artists including Kylie Minogue's X and his number-one collaboration with English rapper Dizzee Rascal, "Dance wiv Me".

His second studio album Ready for the weekend was released on 17 August 2009 and reached number one in the UK Album Charts on 23 August. It includes the chart-topper "I'm not Alone"", the UK top five hit "Ready for the weekend", which was released on 10 August, and the track "Flashback", which was released as the third single from the album on 2 November 2009. The fourth single from the album, "You used to hold me", was released on 8 February 2010 as a CD single and download. A remix album titled L.E.D. Festival was released in July 2010 as a free album in the August issue of Mixmag.
