Let's say that I am not real fond of the wall paper colors but I really like the wooden floor.

It is very modern. I like these bathrooms a lot. I feel like I could add right away my belongings and it shall feel like home immediately.

I like big entrances, cleared and organized.

The kitchen is gorgeous and very functional. The living room is not too bad. A couple of pieces of furniture, some personal accessories and I would be all set. If only I could ...

If only I could have a magic wand (cash would be better) I would move right away (to give it a try at least a year) down to south of Turkey on the Mediterranean coast in a city called Mersin.

I would have a nice flat, with a seaview (of course) a bit like these views:

With a bit of savings, I would not work at first (I think). I would go to school to study Turkish, find a gym where I would exercise five times a week, explore the city and its area and do some voluntary help. I would try to make some friends and would go shopping at the Forum.

Aujourd'hui 19 novembre 2010, nous fêtons la fête nationale monégasque. Longue vie à notre Prince et à sa future épouse.

Comme chaque année, résidents de la principauté (habitants, bureaux et commerçants) sont invités à pavoiser pour marquer leur respect. Bon nombre de compositions florales aux couleurs du pays (rouge et blanc) apparaissent dans les devantures des magasins ainsi que sur les bureaux ou réceptions d'immeubles. Celle que j'ai reçu sur mon bureau ressemblait à cela :

Plutôt moderne et originale ... non ? Je dois cependant avoué que lorsque le courtier me l'a livré je n'ai pas aimé, mais après réflection je la trouve pas mal.

Kurban Bayramı - "Festival of Sacrifice" - is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his son Ismael (Isam'il) as an act of obedience to God, before God intervened to provide him with a ram to sacrifice instead. The meat is divided into three equal parts to be distributed to others. The family retains one third of the share, another third is given to relatives, friends and neighbors, and the other third is given to the poor & needy.

Kurban Bayramı is the latter of two kurban festivals celebrated by Muslims, whose basis comes from Sura 2 (Al-baqara) ayah 196 in the Qu'ran.

The word "Eid" appears in Sura al-Mai'da ("The Table Spread," Chapter 5) of the Qur'an, meaning 'solemn festival'.

Kurban Bayramı is celebrated annually on the 10th day of the 12th and the last Islamic month of the lunar Islamic calendar. Kurban Bayramı  celebrations start after the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat. The date is approximately 70 days (2 Months & 10 days) after the end of the month of Ramadan. Ritual observance of the holiday lasts until sunset of the 13th day.
